Library customers are encouraged to use our digital resources. You can read eBooks, listen to audiobooks, browse our Recollect heritage collection, watch movies, and more! Our digital collection is open 24/7, you can access it free with your Library card and password. Want to join?—simply enter your details to get started. If you need any help using our website or digital resources, please email: library@uhcc.govt.nz.

We sorry, but we’re not able to run delivery services during the lockdown. 

Borrowed items

Items on loan have now been extended until New Zealand returns to Alert Level 2 or lower.

All our return bins and slots are closed—including Pinehaven. Do not return your items before we’re back to Alert Level 2, please keep them at home until our libraries reopen.

All items on hold are frozen until we reopen, your place in the queue stays the same. Any available items you were unable to pick up before the closure, will remain on the shelf for you.
