Grow, save, share! You're invited to get hands on at this free interactive workshop all about collection, saving, storing, and germinating seeds at home.
No registration required – just come along, everyone is welcome to attend.
Perfect for complete beginners and experienced growers, the workshop covers simple, proven methods for seed collection and propagation, plus tips for germination success at home.
You will also have the opportunity to connect with other gardeners, seed savers, and Upper Hutt locals interested in preserving heritage varieties and sharing this knowledge with like-minded people.
Free seeds will be available to take home, to encourage you to start, or expand, your own garden this season.
Light afternoon tea provided by the Rimutaka Lions Club.
