Children's programmes and events

At Upper Hutt Libraries, children are encouraged to be curious, ask questions, and enjoy learning in ways that feel natural and fun, whether that’s through stories, hands-on activities, or time spent exploring something new.

Our children’s events include storytimes, creative sessions, tech clubs, and school holiday programmes, all designed to support early learning while giving children the freedom to play, imagine, and grow.

Families are welcome to take part together, meet others along the way, and make library visits part of their regular routine, whether you’re here every week or just dropping in when something catches your eye.
