All genres and writing forms welcome. We cover everything from crime to science fiction, children's stories to observational essays.

We bounce ideas off one another, talk through plot and character development, and share struggles and successes.

Upper Hutt is home to an impressive and wide range of local writers, authors and storytellers. Our city is alive with great stories waiting to be told... hence the name: Upper Hutt Writes!
