Upper Hutt Libraries hosted an engaging book talk by popular local author, Cat Connor, last Friday night, as she presented her latest book ‘[Whiskey Tango Foxtrot]’ to a room full of captivated audience. The event brought together literature enthusiasts, book lovers, and community members eager to hear about the inspiration behind her new book. 

During the book talk, Cat Connor delved into the heart of her latest work which was set in Upper Hutt, sharing personal anecdotes and experiences that shaped the narrative. She spoke passionately about the themes explored in ‘[Whiskey Tango Foxtrot]’ and shared compelling stories about insights and things she learnt about Upper Hutt.  She once again demonstrated her wit and exceptional use of the English language, receiving praise from attendees for her ability to engage with her readers. 

His Worship, Mayor Wayne Guppy, attended the event to show support for the local literary community. An avid reader himself, he expressed his admiration for Cat Connor's contributions to our city’s literary landscape.
